I am doing a t56 swap in my 99 cobra and can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I just finished puting on my aeromotive fuel system and tried to start the car when I did I felt a knocking in the clutch pedal so I stop and pulled the inspection cover off and had my brother turn it over just a little bit and what's happing is the clutch fork is just barely touching the clutch. Everything is brand new, spec 2+ clutch, aluminum flywheel ,Ford OEM clutch cable, clutch fork, throw out bearing .

stock quadrant under the dash? try lifting the pedal up, and the push it back in again. That should engage the adjustment mechanism. When you take tension off the clutch cable with the stock quadrant this can happen.
