T56 Bearings Question

I’ve been experiencing an annoying bearing sound coming from my T56 since I purchased the car last year. I’m experiencing the same symptoms as this video:
I had a reputable transmission shop look for the issue in December, and after spending nearly $3k on other issues the T56 was having the noise still exists.
The transmission shop claims all my bearings looked fine, but I’ve spoken to other individuals with the same symptoms and they say it was the countershaft bearing causing the loud whining noise.
I’m not a transmission EXPERT, but I’m willing to swap out this bearing myself since it’s the outermost bearing after unbolting the front plate.
Has anyone here replaced this bearing? Is it pressed on? Or will it slide on/off easily? I’m willing to do it myself if it’s simple, but if it requires more labor I’ll consider paying the shop.

The land of commies and socialists!
If thats the same thing you're dealing with it sounds like a bearing to me.

I had a similar sound in my Honda ages ago and one of the bearings was trashed.

Have you drained the fluid and checked for glitter?

Also how do you spend 3k on the trans and not get new bearings? That alone makes the transmission shop suspect to me. Bearings for this trans aren't that pricey.

Yeah I agree, sounds like a bearing to me too. I’m hoping someone on this site has experience replacing the countershaft bearing and can speak to how simple/difficult it is.

My total bill was around $2,800. $1,100 of that was labor for tearing everything down, inspecting all elements, fixing a few cross threaded holes, and reinstallation of everything. We replaced the front plate due to the sleeve braking off inside it ($800), carbon fiber synchro rings, bronze shift fork pads, and solid billet keys/springs. Then I put in an extra couple hundred bucks for fluid, specialty tools, and misc parts.
