I have an 89 LX with a stock t5 and centerforce clutch kit. I am wondering if my current clutch will fit on a 3550 tranny since I will be upgrading soon. IF not I'll have to get a world class T5 and I'd rather get the 3550. Thanks.

It will work. The 3550 is still a 10 spline input. The TKO steps it up a 26 spline. I would double check to make sure since they have just reconfigured their tranny line.

:-D Yeah I am pretty sure the tko has the different spline size but I'll call some shops I guess and see if I can get more info. I can't find any good resources on the net. Thanks buddha93, I really want a 3550 since they are getting phased out (ie cheaper now) because of the tkos.

I also think the same clutch will work with the 3550, but with the tko you would need a new clutch. I too, would also like to snag up a 3550.
