yep, it finally happened, my T45 took a poo on me today. i was driving went to shift to 3rd and the shifter locked up. dont know what to do to fix it other than a new transmission. f any of you have any ideas,or would happen to have a T45 sitting around collecting dust, think you might be able to help me out?

Sounds like you bent the shift forks. They are made out of aluminum. Best bet is to have it rebuilt. However, I did hear that some company in south FL is rebuilding the T45 w/ a bigger input shafts and stronger shift forks. Can't remember if it was pro-motion or something like that. I'm gonna do that once my takes a poo on me. -Mark

i think im going promotion built t45... maybe a tko but i havnt decided yet.
Go to www.Chitownracing.com in the Ford classifieds theres a guy sellin a T45 outa a 97 Cobra for $400.00
