Just had a rebuilt Tremec T45 R2 installed in my 98 yellow cobra and also have a vibration in the 3rd gear while pulling back on the shifter. The original Borg Warner tranny had problems with the 5th gear synchro and reverse gear was impossible to shift any longer. I thought the new upgrade R2 would solve all my problems. It shifts okay though a few times reverse did grind but now 3rd gear has the vibration. My old blue 98 had the original reverse problem but double clutching it was okay as the 98 yellow did before it died. I wouldn't have imagined a new Tremec R2 would have this new issue and I'm pissed. Is there any fix to resolved this problem ???
