Anyone know where I can get a sealing cap for a T45? I gotta replace my release bearing but I don't want to lose a bunch of fluid out of the trans while the driveshaft is out.

I always just left the driveshaft in. I zip tie it around the shifter so it don't pull out. Usually I just change the fluid though.

This.

But tailshaft plugs are sold by Lisle, Perhaps parts stores carry the kit.

I installed a new aluminum driveshaft in my ride so I took the head off of my old driveshaft for this very purpose. I use to own a cup back in the day. Got if from Advance Auto but I don't think they sell it anymore.

Well I guess since I'm just replacing the release bearing I prob could just leave the driveshaft in it. Hopefully I won't even have to take the trans out from under the car. Just separate it, leave it on the jack, replace the bearing and put it back.
