Currently have the HD V2 T trim 8 rib
3.15 pulley
7.25 crank
7000 rpm
Current impeller speed 58k its rated at 55k
648 rwhp
My question is has anyone on here spun one into the 60k range the car isn't at the power level I want and I was considering the 3' or 2.95 pulley

You need to step up to a JT trim. you are going to kill the bearings quick spinning it that hard. OR switch to E85 for the power gain.

You'll be fine. I called Vortech on this a while ago, they spin them over by 10k all the time.. It will wear and tear on the blower faster, but as long as you aren't sitting at that RPM all the time you'll be fine.

For flow numbers not that much better, but the bearings is where it shines.. Same bearings as the JT and YSI trim..

I spoke to Vortech today he acted like it would break if I spun it over 55k

LOL it won't break I assure you. I know people spinning SI trims to 65k without issues. You have to understand that they rate them for a reason for longevity. IF he tell you "yea man it's fine" and you break it then you can come back and say "well he said it fine" and now they are liable.

It'll be fine.. That's not even like 1 psi.. Tell ya what, just spin your motor to like 300rpm more and you'll hit that blower RPM.. if it doesn't blow up then pulley it down.. I plan on spinning over 60k on my blower for a race gas tune.

Lol can't my crank can't handle the rpm still on stock crank I try to not go over 7k rpm ill drop from a 3.15 pulley to a 2.95 and probably add a 50 shot from 3k to to 6000-6500
