I have a 19 Lariat Sport w/B&O sync 3 radio (same as mustangs?) and this just started happening. When I am plugged in to use apple carplay I can't adjust volume, it says "prompt volume" instead of audio volume and does nothing. I tried different lightning cables, different usb ports, rebooted my phone, master reset the radio ....etc. Then it dawned on me. Prompt volume would be a siri or navigation thing. Turned siri off but you need it for apple carplay... then played around in my nav app (waze) and the radio started acting weird. Uninstalled waze and no more issues. hope this help someone out there googling. I'm going to try reinstalling waze and checking settings to see if i can get it to work as I do actually like the app
