good morning Guys,

Recently i was fortunate enough to receive a nice carbon jlt 123mm intake kit. the question is do i need a retune (car on the dyno the full monty) or do i need to take my x4 to JPC to have a setting changed on the existing tune?

thanks in advance,
Mike

Your Mass Air Flow Transfer Function will change with a larger MAF area. Yes, you need a tune revision for the larger MAF but it should not require the "Full Monty" as it is a known MAF curve.

Hope that helps.

@ TVS VERT thanks for the sound advice however it was too early and i was wondering. After searching specifically for that here and not being able to find a decent result i thought it was appropriate to ask that question.

Van thank you Sir!
