Switched to GT500 Shift Boot

Swapped out the stock boot for the GT500 shifter boot.

Got it for cheap and the stitching matches the rest of the car. Plus I'm sure in weight savings alone I'll pick up a tenth in the 1/4 and at least 5 MPH.

Pop the console off and this is what you get. It's actually more of a PITA than I thought it would be to get the boot off. One of the clips wouldn't let loose.

For some reason I thought you had to shave off some plastic piece to install that...looks good though I'll probably grab one too

I like the way it looks, but that material is hard to keep clean and would drive me nuts. The material gets that fuzzy stuff all over it.

Thanks for the input. I found it for 20 bucks. Yeah I plan on doing the parking brake and steering wheel. I love the Alcantara stuff.
