Your customer doesn't go by the name of Splurge over on Contour.org does he? Sounds like the same guy :loser:

Good luck with that project. :burn:

Not sure.. Evidently he has a one of a kind Upper Intake Manifold that he bought off of ebay? Either way the kid's a deuche, but both of your stories seam to match up with the whole 400HP and now going for 500HP.. Don't forget to post some dyno plots of that :bs:

I think I know who you are talking about
He is from Chicago
yeah his car is supposed to be comming
its not here yet

has some custom really expsensive intake

I am pretty sure he has a stock bottom end though
maybe he decided to go forged
I know his motor was apart getting the heads ported I think

Carson, I'm curious, what company do you work for or whatever? Since you have it seems like 1)a little CDW27 knowledge 2)people are bringing you their cars

Hey guys ...
I know I'm in the wrong forum..... but

For really high torque modded Contours... Wouldn't an AWD drive train from a wrecked X type Jag be fairly adaptable to this application???
They are based on a "Mondeo" platform... although different platforms???
link---> http://www.steveparker.com/ROADTEST/2002_jaguar_x-type.htm

It would allow some of that parts breaking torque to go other places ....rather than just the front(unloaded by weight transfer)wheels...

Just a thought...

I don't know if they even come with sticks

I work for Forced Fabrication in Dayton OH. We manufacture turbo setups and custom fabrication as well as SCT tuning.
We are also a warehouse for alot of turbo related parts from flanges to fuel.
Forced Fab

and I was at ITS that is no longer in business

I have done some work on 2.5 cars including 2 defective Vortechs
currently have a 00 SVT with upgraded vortech that I am going to tune here soon and also a 99 we are getting ready to tear down for a major build (the guy who wants 500whp)
and then we have another on the way that is getting a Stg II setup

which we will tune also

I have a long list of turbo cars under my belt
From the first turboed 03 cobra almost 2yrs ago to Scott Hoags Bullit
If anyone happens to have Jan 04 5.0
the turbo kit install in it is me.

I also make parts for some better known companie which I am not permitted to release.

I have alot of 99+ mustang modular experience and have done quite a few focus setups also
including JEGS sport compact Focus (gold with silver carbon fiber hood if anyone has seen it)

The guy who owns the car did reserch on this and the cost was beyond what he wanted to do
to make it happen

Its been tossed around more than a few times, but I think the biggest show stopper in the contour world is $$$. I don't know about room under the car for the system...

I also am very interested in seeing any pics of turbo kits you've setup on or other work done to the CDW-27 platform.
