Did Ford raise the prices of these yet? I see Partscheap.com raised their price to $250. I think they had it at $160 a couple months back.

Wow, I just bought the Boss wheel for $180 shipped less then a month ago. Same place has it for $299 now! Guess Ford has picked up how awesome this wheel is.

AM and LRS still have it for the same price. maybe you can go ahead and place the order through them if you don't mind waiting and get locked in at that price.

No you take your old one off & they snap in the Bullitt wheel.

I understand that, Is there any other modification to make the buttons fit?
The Bullit wheel is the best looking steering wheel for the base car IMO. The boss wheel is covered in Alcantra. And Alcantra wears like crap. I had my fill of the Alcantra in my Lightning.

The New Wheels we're available from Buyfordracing.com, blueoval and Steve from Tousley Ford in Minn. Might want to call them and check....

No, nothing further the buttons are a direct fit in that wheel. The buttons that come in the Bullitt wheel will look just like your stock ones, but the connector in the center is different, this is why you need to swap over your original buttons.

Thanks

ok gang...got the boss steering wheel in the mail a few minutes ago and plan on installing it tonight...wanted to go through install one last time...

disconnect positive side of the battery for 5-10 minutes

lock steering wheel

remove plugs from back of steering wheel and then remove bolts

remove airbag and unplug harness

remove steering wheel...

is that about right?

some guys are saying to let the car sit 30 minutes after disconnecting positive side of battery...also my steering wheel only locks to one side or another...is that fine?

thanks and here is a pic of the boss wheel that just came...it feels pretty nice to the touch...lol
