Swapping out rear ends with an 02 GT.. questions!

hey Guys i have someone locally with an 02 GT that wants to swap rear ends.. and im all for it.

I have a couple of questions -

He offered to do all the work on the swap in exchange for the IRS> What should I think about picking up aftermarket to install before the install?

His rear end is a regular ford 8.8 with C Springs and 3.55 gears, mine is bone stock.

go for it see if you can get him to throw in a Eaton Posi ( i tried Ford Racing Trac-Lok and they didnt hold up) and some 31 spline Moser Axles also. Would stay with the 3.55s. might even try adn keep him to pay for those or half also. remember the IRS rears are real expensive new so you guys might work something out
