What's going on forum, We've done tons of post's on ride height, install and looks... but never on ride characteristics(stiff, harsh, bouncy, etc) What do you have? and whats the best setup in your opinion? I'll start. I'm running K spring, tokico D, and steeda's PHB and brace...Its handles well, It's a decent middle ground for drag and road coarse, They've seen high 1.5/60ft! my only gripe would be their pretty bouncy....

Pretty sure all the responses in this thread will be "opinionated" in way or another. Everyone has a different definition of what is bouncy, stiff, or harsh in their own mind.

Yeah more than anything, I would love to know what other options there are:beer:

Im riding on Tokico D-Specs & Tokico 1.5" Drop springs....got them installed on GT500 mounts with arrows turned IN......LOVE the ability to adjust for different conditions (Daily, Road trip, Road Course, Drag etc) The springs are firm but not harsh and in corners it's flat as a pancake!

Supporting susp mods are : BMR PHB, Whiteline Relo brackets, Eibach Adj LCAs....soon to have rear STB too!

Recently installed some BMR springs on my 2013. So far I like the ride. The suspension feels like it might be a tad bit softer, but that may be attributed to riding on stock struts too. Car definitely likes to take corners a lot flatter now, and I've noticed the car doesn't squat as much as it did before. I'm not a suspension guru, but those are my thoughts.

Forgot to add I have the Freedom Racing Tool & Die double adj. Aluminum PHB with hiem-axle bushing and poly-chassis bushing. Haven't noticed much NVH at highway speeds, but you can definitely hear the hiem creak when you go over a bump, which is understandable.

I just need to figure out a way to put my isolator wrap back on the BMR springs to shut them up from creaking on the spring perch...

My car is a weekend cruiser / spirited driver.

Currently I have the factory BBP wheels/tires :( For suspension, I currently run: Koni Sport Struts/Shocks, Steeda Sport Springs, Maximum Motorsports Panhard Rod, and Maximum Motorsports Caster/Camber Plates. My alignment is pretty aggressive, but the turn-in is worth it: -1.8 camber, 7.6 caster, .06 toe.

The softest koni setting felt like it could be firmed up some, so I run the front koni's 2.5 turns in the front, and 2 turns in the rear. The car is not bouncy at all, and all of the floatiness of the factory suspension is gone. I love the way it rides. To put it in perspective - my fiance thinks the ride is not harsh. It can be a bit "bumpy" on crappy roads. Friends of mine can't believe how nicely the springs ride when on nice roads. Only "negative" - you can def hear the increased noise from the PHB rod ends with the windows rolled up; windows down, you can't hear em.

Also, there is a bit of body roll I would like to eliminate. I will be doing aftermarket sways both front and rear shortly, and new aftermarket LCA's in the future (before I add a power adder). Pic of the stance is below.

Curious - when you say 2.5 turns on the Konis, is that full revolutions or 2.5 notches on the adjustment knob?

I have stock front springs, rear 55D springs and Strange 10 way adjustables on all 4 corners. My interest is drag racing, so my car is not lowered. I also have removed my front swaybar, installed a Steeda LW rad support and have the UMI anti-hop kit out back. So far, all of these mods have not netted me the 60 foot times I had hoped for. Hoping to get some good track prep next time and crack the 1.5s. On the street, it is very well mannered.

I have the Ford "P" springs with the stock Boss struts. Struts set on 3F/2R it seems to be a tad softer than the original Boss springs. Crank it up and it handles much better than stock and has noticeably less nose dive. The rear is a bit bouncy on street driving so I may up the rear shocks to 3.
