supercharger whine???

New here and I have only had my cobra about two weeks, I did own an 01 lightning so i'm not new to the supercharger thing...Maybe it's normal but I don't think so, when I slowing roll into the throttle at about half throttle the supercharger changes tones...it goes from loud to muffled while climbing in rpms

Any help or ideas appreciated

thats the by-pass closing from the lack of vacuum

Yep, listen to this guy. Mine did the same thing way back when I first bought it new. I've got the Boost Bypass mod done now, and it no longer feathers off boost at higher rpms.
