Hey everyone. So I recently did some custom work on my mustang and finally spun up an older 2.9 whipple. At idle (around 800 RPM) its making this whining sound. I'm hoping its not the bearings going bad but.. its certainly an older used whipple that has probably changed hands a couple times over the years. I'm uploading a sound recording to see if anyone with more expertise can shed some light on this.

Thank you !!

Yeah, that's not whine. I'd guess it's a bearing. Sounds like it's due for a rebuild or swap out.
There's usually some nearly new TVS's around in the market section.
Good luck getting it sorted out or replaced.

Id agree with cool cobra sounds more like the blower itself, a bearing should have a higher pitch to it... I could be wrong
