Even though the unibody on the new GT500 is stiffer, it's still a unibody.
It will benefit from subframe connectors, but if you were to go that route I would make sure it's a good setup.
Stifflers is a very good subframe connector that I have on my car, although I do NOT have a 2013/14 GT500.
There are no negative effects from installing a subframe connector except for some very marginal weight gain from the metal of the connector.

What are you driving? My '13 convertible I could definitely feel twist on a hard launch. My '14 glass top feels like it's carved out of granite.
