sTUPID Knock.. need help

get it checked out by a mechanic asap! i had the same problem and i ignored it for a month, i ended up benting 2 rods and spun a bearing

Bringing up the dead! Did this ever get sorted out? I am having the same problem, An odd knock only on startup for a split second and when i go to shift gears above 2000 rpm. Its pretty damn annoying. Any help on this would be great!
