Well, I had one hell of an experience today. While eating lunch at Chili's, this dumb a$$ goes by with a chemical sprayer and coats my hood and the driver's side of my car with some weed killer (or something that wouldn't come off with spit or soap :).

So I wash the car with Dawn.
Then I claybar it.
Spots gone. Whew!
I washed it again.
I put a coat of Meguire's Cleaner Wax on it.

QUESTION for you guys: is the cleaner wax sufficient, or should I put a coat of Next-Gen on it now? (I have it already at home from last time I waxed it.) I've read the threads about the 69 products out there you can order that are better, but I've had good luck with Meguire's all my life... and I believe that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm just wondering if the Cleaner Wax is good enough, or if I need synth or carnuba over it now. :)

Thanks, experts. :)

PS For the record, my black paint looks fantastic - I'm guessing I don't need another layer, but wanted to be sure. Zero swirls or scratches in it after over a year of Texas sun. Thank GOD I have a garage at home and work. :D Cheers......
