I know this could/should go in the mustang forum, but not many people look there, plus its probably applicable to any motor.
Would there be any gain in stroking a motor that is going to end up with stock heads/cams on it? I ask because as with most people cash flow is limited and I want to forge the internals before I do other work. While I'm at it I want to stroke it also. My main reason for asking is: Will I need better flowing heads for a stroked engine to run well? I don't have money to do a full build up all at once, but if I will need h/c I will get those first then build the lower end later. If I don't need them I'll just run more nitrous through the built motor. Thanks for any input.
