Stripes

Hey just curious if anybody else noticed that on the front bumper the stripes actually are not one piece but meet in the middle and overlap each other.

I love this car and am not that crazy, but everytime I wash this thing I notice something that makes me wonder why they did it that way.

Why couldn't the stripes on the front bumper be a one piece stripe instead of having to meet in the middle and overlap each other?

I guess maybe it wouldn't possibly lay flat unless it was two piece?

The 2010 and 2012 and the 2013 all have the stripes like you notice on the front.

Is the space between the colored stripes clear vinyl and that is what is overlapping:
