Stripes for my Z06.

I want to put commemorative edition type stripes on my 03 Z06 and I want opinions as to which color(s) I should choose. The two options are all flat black, or silver inner stripes, and red outer stripes. I like the red and silver because there is silver in the rims and badges and red in the badges, brakes, and interior stitching. But I also like the look of flat black and think it would look nice too. I have attached pics of both, and one of my car so I can get better ideas.

and a sample of how black would look on a different color car. Even though it's not flat black.I couldn't find pics of flat black on a black car.

Not too keen on the stripes but i think flat black might be subtle enough that it would work for you. Im always a fan of the cowl style hoods on vettes though.. provided you get the kind that maintain the same curves through the hood.

I'm leaning towards the flat black too. One of the things is that black Z06's are the most popular, and I want it to be different. I don't want to be the same old Z06.

how about a darker grey then a bright silver... like a gun metal or charcoal grey or DSG, something dark rather then a color that pops out.
a color that is the same as your rims with a red outer stripe... the red will tie in with the calipers and tail lights and well the grey will tie in with your awesome rims.

Very nice car, I'd leave it. If you did stripes though, I like the flat/matte black stripes idea.

If you have your mind set on doing something, I'd look at what someone else suggested and go with a darker silver or something closer to the color of your rims, then pair that with the red.

I honestly think it looks clean as it is.

There is a color like that and I have a pic of it. It would be the inner stripes color.

Tints are on the list too. I'm thinking 15-20% Lowering is possible, but with the NJ roads, I'm skeptical.

yes i like those darker center stripes... still not sure about the thinner outer ones... either silver, or black or even red
