For a soon to be modded 04 Gt with stock rims what would be a good tire for street and strip. The car is drivin every day, rain or shine and this summer will be spending some time at the track.

I would go with Nitto 555's in the front and Nitto 555R's in the rear or just the 555's all around. Also you could do some BF Goodrich g-Force T/A® KDWS.
NT555 all around, its not worth the money for a street driven vehicle to spend the money for the drag radials....especially not when i was getting better 60' on NT555 non drag radials than guys on BFG DR's... i managed a 1.68 on those regular old NT555's(not impressed? my buddy pulled low 1.7x's on stock F1's).... if you have the extra cash and are going to go to the track alot i suggest 2 extra wheels with some MT ET Drag Radials :thumbsup:

Same here, had the 555 nittos all around, cut 1.87 60'
Put the DRs on the rear and still can't get better than 1.83.
Going back to street tires, they last alot longer.
