Strange Tick From Under Dash?

Hey all, I got a little problem with the 96. When I get the car over 3000 RPM's, I get a tick that sounds like it is coming from the passenger side under the dash. It doesn't continue to tick, it just does it once when I get to a little over 3000. However, it does it every single time. Was wondering if anybody had any idea what it is. that is the relay for the imrc's you dont notice it in the summer because you probably have the windows down

I've had the car for 3 years and never noticed it before. I could be going crazy, but I never heard it.

That would have been my guess too.

That is correct, it is the IMRC 's relay activating the IMRC's to open.

I was wondering if it makes the sound if the IMRC's are bad? Seems like it's not running like it used to.

No ideas but I have noticed the noise as well, thought it might have something to do with the IMRC's.

It's normally where I set the timer for the block of C4, so in absence of that, I have no idea what to tell ya. Sorry, guy.
