I am really banging my head over this and I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

A few months ago I started the car just fine but as I was driving away I heard a strange noise that appeared to disappear after a few minutes. Parked finished my day at work and when I tried to start the car to home nothing. I was able to push start it and get the car home which is a positive. I figured the noise was the starter so I replaced the starter and same problem.

After testing ignition wire I do see it switching from ground to positive but no crank. 12 volts on the large wire to starter when key is turned so I am getting power to the starter.

If anyone can suggest anything else please help me...I want to drive her again!

Battery terminals dirty .. or even cracked ring on oem style.

I have replaced terminals..with basic red and black..with bolt clamp on cable..

These type need to be kept clean at terminal and under clamp for wire..

I will look at that. Have you seen that as a problem when no cranking occurs?
