Strange noise

I was driving back from Miami last night to Ft. Lauderdale and when I got to my street I turned the music off and noticed a sound when I turned. It sounded like the tire was flat and thumping or something was rubbing in the rear. It was a kind of thumping noise. i drove to work this morning and didn't notice the sound when I was turning. Any ideas?

Maybe a loose axle nut.

Tough when you can’t recreate it.

yeah I didn't hear it this morning on my drive to work

You may be able to recreate it by swerving back and forth to load/unload each side.

Take your wheels of and check the big nut driver side usually comes loose

Make sure the rear axle nuts are torqued to 250ft-lbs ... as mentioned above they like to come loose, especially on driver side ... if they start to loosen and you continue to drive that way you'll need a new bearing
