can these be used for autox or up in the mountains on a stick axle car? i just want to make sure that i can crank these up and use them in the mountains if i want to... i know i can turn them down to drag race if i want to.

They are more of a drag strut. I've got Koni adjustables if you wanna trade. I've got the front and rears. Currently I have Strange 10-ways in the back, and Koni's in front, but I have the rear Koni's sitting in the house. PM me if you wanna trade.
i dont have them yet... i am planning on buying new shocks soon and im just doing some research.
Right on then. Well, having had both, I will say that Koni's (versus the the Strange's) definately had better handling characteristics on the full-stiff setting where as the Stranges shined on the full-loose setting for drag racing. But if you're interested, I'll sell my adjustable Koni's front and rear for a great price. I was SUPER pleased with them when I had my Cobra setup for road-racing, couldn't have asked for better performance.
