Guys, it makes me wonder sometimes, how many parts for sale came off someone else's ride. We need a database where we can post VIN's, engine numbers etc. whenever a member vehicle is stolen. That way if someone trips across a part from EBay or whatever, they can check the DB for some numbers. A simple method would be for members to put the last six numbers of the VIN on their trannys, inside doors, blowers, etc with a dremel tool. A sticky detailing specific locations to put the numbers on some of the more desirable parts would be cool too. That way, anytime a part was sold, the numbers could be checked easily.
