How many are running 4# or 6# over stock on the stock guages and is there any concern about doing so? I guess my question is should I upgrade the gauges before adding boost?

Thanks,

The only thing that is going to happen is that you are going to peg out the stock boost gauge. I do it all the time. I have an aftermarket guage for a more accurate reading. Once you put the aftermarket guage in, you will notice how inaccurate the stock guage is.

Billetflow makes a gauge overlay for your stock gauge that will read higher than the stock 10lb reading. I installed one on a friends Terminator and it worked pretty good. Just a small amount of work needed to install it.

I like my Autometer Lunar gauge better.
