Stock front struts???

I've recently bought a 03 Cobra and I believe that the front springs are cut so I'm trying to fix it. It's a very ruff ride and the front end bounces. It also rubs on just about everything. :fm: I looked under the car and I'm not really sure what I see. I always thought that the 03/04 Cobra's came with Bilstein Struts from the factory? I don't believe this is what I have. Can someone tell me what I have and if this is factory?

I tried to wipe off the dirt... they don't look any different

Those definitely are not Bilstein struts (you can tell by the bottom). It's hard to tell if they are actually yellow since everything is so filthy, but I would bet they are just a Monroe replacement.

No it's not stock - look at the bottom of it.

The upper shaft would also have a hex in it if it was a Bilstein.

Check the back shocks/springs as well then.

Thanks guys... I didn't think these were the stock Bilstein.

I guess the good news is that rears definitely are Bilstein. It's clear as day.

Now I'm gonna have to replace the front springs and struts.

Post a pic of the ride height from the side. May not have to replace the springs. You can find low mileage used Bilsteins on here for half the price of new ones so it wont be too bad. They look like stock springs from what I can see
