If your talking about near the rear axle you have to drop the axle down a bit to get it to come through. Don't rush and cut it, that's an expensive replacement cost on the stock exhaust.
Sometimes it helps to remove the rear shocks to let the axle drop as far as possible. Can also heat the rear tailpipe hangers and bend them parallel to the pipe for extra clearance...
You don't want to know what a NOS exhaust costs...
^^ Yep. I already know, thats why I want to remove it fully intact. I want a little more breathing room but I still want the option of returning it completely back to stock condition. Thanks for the tips.
