stock Eaton and 2.76 pulley (whine)

2003 cobra 35k miles had a 2.76 pulley put on and a handheld tuner,2k miles ago, i noticed once i rolled into the throttle in 2nd and 3rd gear, the whine on the Eaton sounds louder towards the back of the engine in the car, and goes away and sounds normal after about 2 seconds. The sound seems to be coming more into the center of the dash almost as if it is bleeding off, but the boost gauge reads other wise.

Sounds about right. Mine would quiet down a little like that when it wasn't ported.
