stock 2001 1/4mile

I'm planning on taking my '01 to the track this weekend. Its bone stock, 135,000 miles. I'm guessing high 13's @ 103-105. What do they normally run stock? Any special launch technique?

That article is far from reality. My 01 vert has run a best of 13.49 with a K&N, Magnaflow catback and Centerforce clutch. In stock form it has gone 13.6's.

+1 on the 13.6 in stock form...after mac mufflers, densecharger cai, bbk 65mm tb, 90mm MAF, bbk o/r x, I was hitting 13.2 with a 13flat on my best run and that was in a convertible too:banana:

Dunno what my "new" coupe runs yet, trying to build the rear before I go so it doesn't explode.

Yea seems like it. That article said the 1st dyno pull they did with the car netted 238hp/253tq. Seems like pre-fix to me.

13.60s are average

catback, CAI, and midpipe are usually goor for 13.40s and some high 13.30s with some driver mods

i went 14.10s my first time in my 01 20+ passes later i got a clue and went 13.60s at 104.xx

with a catback, midpipe, and spacer i went 13.30s at 106

that first article is slightly misleading. they did make changes on the '01s so your specs are going to be better than what the '99s put down. but who knows wut ur times gonna be, a lot depends on how sound ur car is and how u drive. good luck, post up ur times

i know of many post fix 99s that put down slightly better numbers that stock 01s

oh and OP...drive that car like you hate it to get the lower ETs

Good luck on street tires. With a lil spin and hop at the the top of first I could only manage a 13.512 @ 103.38. 2.142 60ft
