Anyone else's door moldings become tacky/stick and lose their shine? My driver's door molding did several years ago and now the passenger door is doing the same thing. I bought some replacements from Late Model Restoration and painted them. I finally installed the new one on the driver's door yesterday and it looks much much better. It's a pain getting the old one off and removing the old 3M tape. Just getting her ready for the spring. 2013 is 11 years of ownership! I still love looking and driving this car!

This is a common issue with a few of the cars, some people have used a paint thinner or a pre cleaner to clear up the sticky or build up on them.

Yeah, I've been getting by with using goo gone on them periodically. I finally got fed up and replaced them.
