So my girlfriends 2003 V6 fury is starting to make noise through the stereo.
I know it is probably a ground cause that is what causes these noises in most cars but this is an orignal stock stereo. It is a Mach system the lower of the 2 styles.
The noise is not constant though it only happens now and then. It stops once you are driving freeway speeds. SO it is mainly in stop and go or slower speeds.
I was wondering if it could be a AMP ground, I say this because once you turn off the stereo while it is happening the music is off and a couple seconds later the whining sound stops.
