Ok, have had this car for 14 years now and in the last year or so, it has developed a wobble in the steering wheel, but, only between 40 and 55 miles per hour. On the interstate, it is as smooth as glass. Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks guys

Have you ever had an alignment?

Yeah, its been lowered and aligned and camber plates and the whole deal. The tires I have on the front are over a year old and still look brand new, so, I know that the alignment is good. Not one sign of toe-in problems or uneven wear.

Maybe you have a tire starting to separate? Or do you drive it often? Could have a flat spot?

Inner tie rods could be severely worn, and while at it inspect the rag joint in the steering shaft. You would be surprised how important inner tie rods play a big role in keeping the car straight at all speeds. When I took mine apart they had no strength to them at all were easily manipulated with my hand when I got the outer tie rods off.
