Guys,
I recently got my stearing gear changed after an accident. Now, when backing out of a parking spot with the wheel turned all the way to one side, I get a really nasty metal screeching noise when the wheels are turning. It only really happens when the wheel is turned one way (to the left). I looked at the steering system schematic in the shop manual, and can't really figure what the problem could be.
I'd like to get an idea of what it could be before I try to open any bolts and fix it myself and/or pay a mechanic to do it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
