Long story short, I tried to put in my QA1 k-member and once it was in, the steering shaft wouldn't reach the rack. It was bumping against my long tubes (it goes between them). Any one else have this problem? Suggestions?

Maybe try Faming River. Most of us Fox bodies use them with the long tubes.
