Steeda Shifter Issue

I have has my new Tri-Ax on the car for ~ 100 miles and the shifter arm and the base have separated while driving.

With my transmission issues in the past, I was SHOCKED to find the handle traveling ~ 5 inches in any direction while driving last Friday while in gear.

I will tear into it next week but Steeda is saying the bolts have backed out, and I need to apply thread locker to them to keep this from happening. I thought the base was assembled by Steeda to the arm.......

Anyone else have this happen before?

Which bolts are you talking about? The (4) that attach the shifter base to the factory shifter box? Or the ones that are on the underside of the shifter and attach the arm to the base?

I have one of these shifters sitting on my desk right now waiting for install, I'll want to double-check mine.
