damn, now you guys got me worried about the torque boxes.

Anyone know why these usually fail(or should I say break)? Should I buy those battle box reinforcements they were talking about?

We'll have 2 installed in 03 Cobra's next week! Looks like they'll make a difference. Cheap way to fix wheel hop.

I have Steeda's full length subframes w/ the torque box plates and welded seams. You can just weld the seams and they should be fine. The article above was from someone jacking the car up on the torque box - not damage from normal driving.
