Rich was a good friend and racing buddy from tlhe mid'80's. He and I talked about the CoolShirt many times when it was just an idea he had. Started out selling Medical Equipment. Was starting up the CoolShirt business at work and one day, they told him he was spending too much time with it and canned him. Got him serious about the CoolShirts. One of the Best thing I ever bought. Block ice is better than cubes. (sandwich bags full of water and frozen before you leave for track works well). Found if I put balaclava in cooler and wrung it out before getting in car, worked even better. Nomex wasn't soggy, so it never dripped. A little baby powder in gloves helps, too. I also kept a bottle or two of frozen water in the CoolShirt cooler. Handy if you get stuck out on course. Plus if your crew brings you a couple of extras to drink in impound, it adds a couple of pounds to your weight before you cross the scales....
