Starter Replacement 96 Cobra?

You'll need a lllloooooong extension and go at that top bolt from the front of the engine, takes some cussing and blind faith, but you'll get it.

As for the clutch cable disconnect, make sure its out of gear, get a long pry bar and push it to relieve tension on the cable and then slide it out. Probably easier with some else under the car to slide the cable out when you get the tension off the cable. Good luck.

yeah i used a 6 inch extension with a deep socket and got it, i did it with longtubes in there so it is possible, feel abouts where the bolt is and try and grab it with the socket and extension, and then put the ratchet on it

It really is a lot easier if you have a second person to guide the socket onto the bolt, saves a lot of frustration. I remember removing the starter when I changed my clutch. Really annoying until you figured out how to get it off...
