Standing Mile Tire Options

All,
I currently run 20" Toyo Proxes r888's, and they worked great at the Colorado Mile. I would love to the run the Hoosier R6's that are so popular at the upcoming Texas Mile, but it looks like I probably stand a better chance of winning powerball than finding a set to buy.

Has anyone run the Goodyear G2's or another tire about the same height as the Hoosier for a standing mile event? Just curious as to what other options might be out there in a size taller than my Proxes.

Why not Hoosier R7's? They're just the new compound that's supposed to wear better.

I don't think they make the R7 in a size over 28 inches in diameter.
