So what do I use? Can I try 1 and if it does not do the trick go to 2.5? Or should I just go 2.5? I don't think I have bad scratches but, it's basically those spider webs that everyone has...Let me know.

Always start with the least abrasive, then you can go more. SSR 1 isn't to harsh at all. I usually clean up the micro marring that 2.5 leaves with 1 or VM. If you are looking for a swirl remover go with 2 or 2.5. If it is just small swirls for washing the car, you will probably be alright for 1. I would get both, it's good to have a nice arsenol on hand.

Car is yellow cnepace

Big casino..they are probably something 1 will take away so, I will start there..if that does not work..I will go to 2.5..and then back to 1 to fix that. Any reason to get 2, if you have 1 and 2.5?

what usually ends up happening with me is I'll do 90% of the car or so with SSR1, and go over a few problematic areas with SSR2.5.

Okay..so, my car was detailed from the dealership..It has never been washed since then as it would only go on short trips and then I would come back and QD the car back to clean. If I want to start with the SSR..what do I need to do? Wash car first or can I just QD and start from there? Also..if I do the SSR 2.5, then SSR 1, then maybe Clearkote VM then Klasse Sealant Glaze and then followed by CMW. I understand that polish then seal that and after that do a Carnuba wax should bring a deep rich very wet shine....anyone's thoughts?

This is per some info I read on Autopia.org. I have tried with other brands and it works..just wondered if anyone had tried that combo with Clearkote.

wash it and dry it completely, then hit it up with the SSR.

I would personally skip the Klasse SG. I'm not even sure if it'll bond properly with the VM.

Yeah always wash it before going to work on the swirls. You want a completely clean surface. All it takes is for your applicator to pick up something on the fender wells edge, lower door panel, or around the windows and them mar the car.

I would skip one of the Kasse or the VM steps. I can even skip the SSR1 step and go straight to VM alot of times from 2.5

No reason to get 2 if you got 1 and 2.5.

After you get the swirls out of your personal car, I usually just use VM (its a very light abrasive) and then go to my LSP. If I need something a little more than VM I use Megs 80. It has a good bit more bit than VM and you can still go to an LSP from it.

I mean once you get your car right, the SSR's will just be for spot area's from time to time and when you do a friends car or something.
