I put a 2000 GT SRA in my 2004 cobra (with GT brakes) and want to confirm and ask a few things. I am either looking for a set of 15" or 16" rims with a 6.5" back space? Since I have 3.73's would you run a 28" or 26" ET street? Also, how wide would you go with the rim and tire? I do not have an upgraded input and will not hit it too hard on the line. I just want to get a decent rim and tire combo, that doesn't rub and will hook up decent on the track.

Last time out, before the SRA I ran 11.7@ 118 on a 315 drag radial...just wanted to let people know what MPH I was trapping.

I appreciate the help.

That all seems like good numbers.
You should be fine with what you want to do.

I have a 98 gt rear which is a little smaller and the combo I use is:
MT ET Street Radials 325/50/15 on Pacer "Stars" 15x10.5x4.5bs

(- Yes I know it's very dirty thanks =P -)

I would run a 26" tire. or 27" at the most with a 3.73 gear. I am getting a pair of hoosier 27x11.5x15 quick time pros on a 15x8 w/ 5.5 bs.

I run 15x8 with 26.5" tall slick with my 3.73s and solid axle.

What backsapce rim? That looks awesome!

Also, how to I properly measure backspace?

When is measured a potential set of rims it came out to 15" x 8-7/8" BS= 5-3/8" Would these fit nicely?
