Anyone ever had trouble with their Metco alternator pulley squealing. I have a 3.20" Metco with spacer installed on a 160amp Start-N-Charge with Metco 2# lower and its making an awful noise that started when basically new after 2 weeks use. Shouldn't be due to the belt slip as its just a pinch tighter than my stock alt pulley setup but I can't tell for sure what's causing the squeal in that area. It also gets really really loud under any load conditions while at idle its more like a consistent chirp chirp chirp.

Most likely a belt alignment issue. You may have to shim the pulley or alternator itself.

i had to shim my alternator.
noise started a week after installing metco lower.
gone after shimming
Shim what exactly. Alt bracket, pulley itself,- front or behind spacer, best guess at shim size? Also I don't like the idea of shimming the pulley spacer as there already isn't much nut on it to begin with. hell maybe the Metco spacer is too much.
