I recently bought a set of LFP stage 2 heads from an indvidual. The heads are brand new, still wrapped in the plastic. I think that LFP uses patriot heads, i'm not sure i thought i read it somewhere. And over the years i've read good and bad things about the patriot heads. Mostly dropping valves into the cylinder. I'm wondering if its a safe thing to swap out the retainer and locks for some aftermarket ones? I just want peice of mind that it won't drop a valve. I'm gonna be swapping out the stage 2 springs for the new ones i bought, so its not a big dealto do the swap if need be.I've waited over 3 years to go built and i ordered my motor today, and i don't want to destroy it over a cheap peice.
