Wolf? Really? I must have been confused, I thought those were the jumpers. But yes, wife came screaming into the house when she saw it outside.

The striping gave it away to me. If you look closer you will see the two front mandibles are tight to the body and covered in hair. They look like two "canine" teeth on the front similar to a wolf scowl.

Actually YOU are wrong. Brown recluses are small, between 1/4 and 3/4 in MAX size.
