OK guys, My speedometer has been going crazy lately. I put in a Dallas speed cal last year right before I parked the car so I never really had a chance to see if it worked or not. This year when I took it out it was doing fine. Looked like it was dead on. Then all of a sudden it started reading really high. Like wrapping the needle all the way around to the peg. It was off and on like that for a while. Now it stays rapped up there. It will drop a little with the car off but as soon as you go to start it it hits the peg. Anyone know whats going on?

Pull the dash off and check the connections. Sounds like the tach is messed.
check all the connections you made with the speed cal

Well looks like this will have to be put on the back burner. Decided to drive the car to work today. Went home for lunch and was about to go back to work. I got about a block from my house and the car died. I think my new MSD box just took a crap on me. Anyone know how to take this POS off my car and return it to the stock ignition?
