speedo lights ----- 99 vs 01??

so i heard that 99 speedos are blue is that correct. i own a 99 and mine are green? does anyone have a pic of their blue speedo light.

i've had both, the backlights for the instrument cluster on the 99's should be bluish, while on 01's it's greenish...i couldn't tell you why it may be the wrong color....

I am pretty sure mine are blueish but I can't remember for sure. I will check later.

Mine are bluish in color.

The switch came in 01 for all instrument clusters. My buddy from high school had a 2000 GT with bluish cluster lights. My old 2002 GT had green cluster lights.

yup my 01 V6 had the green lights for the speedo and radio; the 99 has blueish

The 99-00 guages always struck me as a teal color.

my 99 is green too. i wonder why some of us have blue and others green. and u blue people how does it match the stereo color?

mine are more turquoise as well. I bought the UPR knobs with blue lenses in them and they match my dash perfectly...does'nt look 100% blue

all of you who say you have green in 99's...you need to find an 01+ (any mustang) and look at the backlights on it...i'm betting your lights seem greenish to you but if you compare them to a newer one, they'll look blue...

yea mine looks like the top pick, a greenish teal. definately not blue!
